Digital Delights Sunday - Holiday Cookbook

Hi guys,
Welcome to Digital Delights Sunday! Today, I'll be showing you a project that I've been working on, using the Gingerbread Holiday set. Little Ginger is so cute! I've used the pre-colored digital stamps on my holiday cookbook album...they are such a time saver! The inside of my cookbook album is yet to be embellished, but as you can see from the above photo, the front cover is finished. I used the faux chipboard technique on the title, as well as, Baker Ginger. I had such a good time putting this together! I'll be making 2 more, one for my son and one for my daughter, so they can pass down these family holiday recipes. Stayed tuned for Part 2, where I'll show you the cutting and construction of the cookbook album. Thanks so much for coming by today, and thanks for watching Cardz TV!

Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
Mary

  6. Mary, this came out so super cute. I love the digi stamps. Your children will love to get this gift. If you have any photos of you and the children cooking together, you could take them and slip them behind the recipes. That would be so sweet.

  19. Your recipe album is adorable! I will be making a couple of these for gifts this year, for sure!

One think I do whenever using the digital stamps is after I print the image I take a black Sharpie marker and draw a wider outline around the image. Then when I cut them out, it gives me a little "cheat space" so that the white cardstock doesn't show if I don't cut exactly on the edge of the printed image.

Thanks for sharing the recipe book idea with us!
